I was driving down Hwy 85 in Fayetteville Georgia and noticed a young man on the side of the road carrying a sign advertising an all you can eat restaurant for $6.50. This was on a typical Sunday afternoon and I was heading to Pizza Hut for meal. I thought why not try this restaurant as the price was right.
The name of the restaurant was American Buffet. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in and saw a very clean restaurant. The price of the meal was $6.99 without a drink and only $7.99 with a drink. They only offered buffet dining which was wonderful for me. The menu featured fried chicken, ribs, baked chicken, salisbury steak for the entrees. There was a full salad bar if you wanted salad. There was an offering of several freshly made vegetables. The type of food was soul food. The menu included collard greens and sweet potatoes. There was also corn, rice, black eyed peas and several other items on the bar.
Further in the corner was a variety of breads and desserts. This restaurant truly offered a great meal for the price. You can make as many trips as you want to the buffet at American Buffet. This is truly a great place to eat in Fayette County Georgia. Please vision the American Buffet which is open 7 days per week. Stay tuned for additional posts on this restaurant and others in the Fayette County, Georgia area.

Mike an C's Bar Fayetteville Geogia
I have recently dined in a restaurant called Mike and C's which is locate on South Glynn Street in Fayetteville Georgia. This restuarant opens at 7:00 am and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. I usually have the reuben sandwich with sweet potatoe fries. I have also had the hot wings. Both of these are delicious. The prices are very reasonable.
The atmosphere is excellent. There is a bar if you do not want to sit at a table. The bar has several television sets to watch your favorite sport teams to battle. There are also several television sets located in the dining room section. No matter where you sit you are able to see a television set.
On several nights during the week there are activities you can participate in while dining. One night there is Karioke. Another night there is trivia. Some local talent performs once a month. As you can see the atmosphere is excellent and although there is a bar, this is a family restuarant. They even have Dip N Dots as a dessert.
If you want to have a night out with friends or just enjoy a relaxing evening alone, this is a fantastic and safe place to go.

Ruby Tuesdays Restaurant
Today is Sunday October 18, 2009. This morning I visited Ruby Tuesdays restaurant on Hwy 85 in Fayetteville Georgia. This restaurant is featuring a new weekend brunch. The menu includes such items as eggs benedict, pancakes, and omelets. The brunch is not an all you can eat breakfast bar. There is a set menu. For one price you get homemade biscuits, a yogurt parfait made from scratch and cookies for desert with all entrees.
The homemade biscuits were really good. They bring these to the table by request which means they are really warm and flaky. The yogurt parfait consists of yogurt with fruit topping and granola on top. This looked very good but I did not have because I do not like yogurt. For an additional cost you can also have choice of several fruit juice blends of drinks. I had the Sunrise which is a blend of orange juice, peach juice and pineapple juice. This was really good.
I had the omelets for an entree. The omelet was absolutely huge. In fact, I had some left over which I finished for dinner today. The omelet was called the California Omelet. It was made with eggs, alvocada, grilled chicken and was served with sour cream and salsa. This was excellent.
The price of the brunch was pretty good for a fancy meal. The entire meal for two was about $22.00. This was not bad considering this same meal in a hotel restaurant would have been about $30.00.
The service was wonderful. The waitress was patient about explaining the different menu items.
I will definitely go to this restaurant again for either dinner or brunch. If you would like more information see official Ruby Tuesday website. Just click on this link. www.rubytuesday.com

Hotlanta Wing
Today I visited the Hotlanta Wing restaurant. This is located on Hwy 85 in Fayetteville, Georgia. This main entree is the Buffalo Wings. However the menu also includes Hamburgers, Hotdogs, Gyro Sandwiches, Salads, Catfish and several other items. The side items include fried pickles, fried okra, french fries and cheese sticks.
This restaurants does serve Beer and is open 7 days a week starting at about 11:00 am daily. This is one of several restaurants specializing in buffalo style wings in the Fayetteville area. The prices are pretty good. For example 10 wings, a soda and fries is less than $7.50 (including taxes).
The restaurant includes this sit and watch lottery games such as Keno. There is a separate area with a pool table for large groups. Several TVs are located inside the restuarant and on the open patio. The TVs are usually on a sports channel, but the staff is great about changing the channel if a customer wants to watch something different.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. The restuarants if very clean and inviting. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.
If you are looking for a place to have lunch or dinner with a date or with family, this is an excellent choice in the Fayetteville, Georgia area.

Me and Restaurants in Fayette County
I have become a regular visit at several restaurants in Fayetteville GA. I really do not like to cook, but love to eat. This site will be used to review each and every restaurant located in Fayetteville Georgia. Today I had pizza delivered from Dominos. Usually I do not like Dominos pizza, but I did not want to go out so Pizza it was.
My son and I ordered using a $5.55 coupon. We could either get 3 medium pizza with one topping for $5.55 each or a combination of pizzas or sandwiches for $5.55 each. I chose to try the italian sandwich and my son chose Pizzas.
The sandwich was excellent but the pizza was just okay. The value for the price was good and the fact that the meal was delivered was definitely a plus.
Overall I would say that I got a good deal for about $22.00, and I have leftovers for tomorrow.
Please keep coming back for more updates.
