Today is Sunday October 18, 2009. This morning I visited Ruby Tuesdays restaurant on Hwy 85 in Fayetteville Georgia. This restaurant is featuring a new weekend brunch. The menu includes such items as eggs benedict, pancakes, and omelets. The brunch is not an all you can eat breakfast bar. There is a set menu. For one price you get homemade biscuits, a yogurt parfait made from scratch and cookies for desert with all entrees.
The homemade biscuits were really good. They bring these to the table by request which means they are really warm and flaky. The yogurt parfait consists of yogurt with fruit topping and granola on top. This looked very good but I did not have because I do not like yogurt. For an additional cost you can also have choice of several fruit juice blends of drinks. I had the Sunrise which is a blend of orange juice, peach juice and pineapple juice. This was really good.
I had the omelets for an entree. The omelet was absolutely huge. In fact, I had some left over which I finished for dinner today. The omelet was called the California Omelet. It was made with eggs, alvocada, grilled chicken and was served with sour cream and salsa. This was excellent.
The price of the brunch was pretty good for a fancy meal. The entire meal for two was about $22.00. This was not bad considering this same meal in a hotel restaurant would have been about $30.00.
The service was wonderful. The waitress was patient about explaining the different menu items.
I will definitely go to this restaurant again for either dinner or brunch. If you would like more information see official Ruby Tuesday website. Just click on this link. www.rubytuesday.com
